Pam Brisse made this quilt with a dozen eggs as quilt squares, and a tag on the corner that reads “The Price of DEMOCRACY $3.65 by Pam Brisse” and on the back, “Avg price of a dozen eggs in Nov 2024. The excuse used to vote against a woman president”
Other than the inclusion of the average price of eggs on the tag, the quilt isn’t exactly a data visualization, but one can imagine adapting it to include data (e.g. price in states that voted for vs. against Kamala Harris).
