A colorful tapestry style weaving with lots of beads and metadata about what they represent

For several years at the Textile Makerspace, I tried to keep track of makerspace visitors using a guestbook loom, asking visitors to weave a piece of yarn through a Frame loom set up for that purpose, and add any number of beads they wanted to capture how they were feeling that day. It was challenging to get people to do it reliably, but it was the best data I had for keeping track of metrics. Every year, the colors would change slightly, as would the details of the Feelings taxonomy we used. This approach to record-keeping was later adopted by other textile-friendly makerspaces.

This visualization primarily uses color. The organization is chronological because each row was woven as people came into the makerspace over the course of a year.
